Traveling is exciting, but is dependent on a multitude of details. You have a
thousand things to remember, here is partial suggested list you can print out and
use to get things taken care of ahead of time. We have provided extra area for
you to add your own items.

We at Beach Bay Getaway want you to have the best vacation ever!

Basics:

	Wallet and/or purse and cash (we often forget the most obvious things)
	Credit cards and Cash (list of numbers credit card numbers / phone numbers)
	Car and house keys (plus duplicate sets kept in different bags)
	Extra Sunglasses, Eyeglasses and/or contact lenses (plus lens cleaner)
	Medical insurance cards, list of phone numbers.
	Prescriptions, vitamins and other medications
	Maps and directions (Print Directions from this site)
	Camera, film, digital camera memory cards, extra batteries and a charger
	Cell phone(s). Good way to keep track of each other if doing different activities

	The clearance on our two car garage is 72 inches. You may want to measure your car clearance to be certain

To Do:

	Pick up trash / Remove trash from home before departure
	Make arrangements for any pets you have
	Tune-up car, check tires, battery, major fluids, brakes etc...
	Replace expired prescriptions and medication and replace expired sun block, most SPF lotions lose potency over years time
	Replenish Toiletries kit
	Hold incoming mail and newspapers
	Notify neighbors of your vacation and give phone # for emergencies If you are not bringing a cell phone, use 619-222-7824 (we'll get hold of you)
	Mow your lawn just before you leave
	If you're leaving a car, leave it parked in your driveway
	Lock all windows and doors before you leave
	Unplug small appliances
	Turn off AC/Heat
	Turn off water connections to your cloths washer.

Packing Cloths:

	Complete change of clothes for each person per day. Think cool, comfortable clothing — We do have a washer / dryer on site, you may be able to get away with less.
	Lightweight sweater or jacket and long pants for cooler evenings
	Swimsuits (two per person, so you'll always have a dry one)
	Beach towels (again two per person is ideal)
	Beach cover-ups or roomy T-shirts (to throw on over swimsuit when you've had enough sun)
	Baseball caps or wide-brim hats (to protect faces from sun)
	Sunglasses with UV protection
	Sandals
	Beach Bag and Backpacks
	Family size Beach Blanket

Toiletries:

Mouthwash	Cologne/Perfume	Contact lenses

	Video Recorder and hookups to watch on T.V. at the beach house.
	Favorite Books - We have available dozens of paperbacks as well.
	Cell phone, extra batteries and battery charger
	Travel journal
	Games for the car. We have games at the Beach house as well.
	Binoculars - we have great views from our roof top deck, good for site seeing and are good for keeping eye on the kids while at the beach.
